China OKs AvFab King Air Modifications

Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) has received STC validation from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for the installation of its high-density seats and aft jump seats in specified models of the Beechcraft King Air. The lightweight seats provide for carrying more passengers in a variety of seating floor plans used in King Airs. The aft jump seats allow one or two additional passengers to sit in the aft baggage area next to the door. They fold down from the sidewall to add seating and fold up when baggage space is needed.

The STC-approved kits come complete with the seats, the restraint system, the floor board (if needed), all fittings, brackets, hardware, life vests, overhead lights, vents and oxygen drop-downs, along with installation instructions. The client can customize the seats by upholstering them and painting the frames to match the rest of the interior.
