SEA Prime (Booth H059) which operates Milano Linate Prime, the largest FBO in Italy, has signed an agreement with international catering provider Gate Group and its subsidiary Gate Gourmet Italia, which will see the company establish an in-house provisioning operation.
Starting next month, Gate Gourmet Italia will debut Prime Gusto, an 80-square-meter (860-square-foot), 40-seat restaurant and bar at Milano Linate Prime. From its kitchens, the company will also provide customized flight catering, as well as executive food service to the FBO’s recently established BMW Business Center, which consists of several high-end meeting rooms on the upper floor of the building. “I think it’s something that you might expect to find in Italy, with its love for food,” said SEA Prime president Giulio De Metrio, in describing the rarity of an on-site catering facility, which will allow flight crews to speak directly with the chefs at the FBO to detail any special requests.
