Duncan Aviation will be holding a free NextGen seminar on September 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Chantilly-Dulles Expo in Northern Virginia. Duncan’s regional avionics sales manager Mark Francetic will be talking to business aircraft operators about the NextGen mandates and existing solutions.
Francetic and Duncan's partners ARINC Direct, Honeywell, Satcom Direct, L-3 Aviation and Rockwell Collins will present practical information about the ADS-B and FANS-1A mandates. Discussion includes information about the STCs and certified equipment that’s currently available for business jets to meet these mandates.
Attendees will also hear about the FAA’s plan to roll out controller/pilot datalink communications for departure clearance (CPDLC-DCL) at 56 more airports throughout this year and what that means for FANS-equipped business jets. Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. Lunch will also be provided.
