FlightSafety International has begun training for the Dassault Falcon 8X at its Paris Le Bourget learning center, the company announced today. The facility is now offering pilot transition, initial and recurrent training for the French-built trijet in a full-motion simulator, as well as courses for maintenance technicians and flight attendants.

“FlightSafety’s engineers and courseware developers have worked closely with Dassault to ensure the full flight simulator and training programs are of the highest quality and meet the specific needs of Falcon 8X owners and operators,” said FlightSafety senior vice president of operations Daniel MacLellan.

The EASA and U.S. FAA level-D-qualified simulator is equipped with the EASy III avionics suite, “FalconEye” HUD with combined vision system, enhanced vision system, and emergency vision assurance system. Qualification by other regulatory agencies “will be obtained according to customer needs,” the training provider said.

FlightSafety provides training for all current-production Falcon aircraft using a fleet of 26 full-motion flight simulators at its learning centers in Columbus, Ohio; Houston; Dallas; Teterboro, New Jersey; Wilmington, Delaware; and Paris.
