Quest Aircraft promoted its senior v-p of operations, Jason Eddy, to the newly created position of COO, where he will be responsible for all company functions, including quality assurance, manufacturing, finance and sales and marketing. Eddy, who has served with Quest for the past seven years, takes the new role as the company works to expand its operations with a new addition to its facilities completed last summer at Sandpoint, Idaho. The company also has been extending its international reach with several validations of its single-turboprop Kodiak 100, the latest one coming from Chile last month.
“Jason has been a key member of our senior management team the last few years,” said Quest president and CEO Sam Hill. “As COO, Jason’s knowledge and expertise will help guide our continued growth.”
Eddy has held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and operations since joining Quest in 2009. Before then, he was responsible for overseeing cost-cutting and lean-manufacturing initiatives with semiconductor manufacturer Intel Corp.
