Jet Aviation’s location in Vienna, Austria, has received EASA approval to expand its maintenance capabilities for Bombardier business jets. The facility will now be able to provide line maintenance for the ultra-long-range Bombardier Global 5000/6000, Global Express and Global XRS series, as well as base maintenance for the super-midsize Challenger 350.

“We are delighted to extend our service offerings to meet maintenance demand for these aircraft types,” said Dennis Kohr, managing director of the company’s MRO and FBO facility in Vienna. “These approvals serve upwards of 100 aircraft in the region and we look forward to welcoming them to our facility.”

Jet Aviation Vienna was founded in 2014, when the General Dynamics subsidiary entered into agreements with the existing MRO and FBO operators Gate V and Fame, respectively. With a newly constructed 43,000-sq-ft (4,000-sq-m) hangar, the location is also a Cessna Aircraft-authorized service center for Citations and provides off-site AOG support.
