Long a global aviation fuel distributor, World Fuel Services has launched its own fuel brand, it announced on Wednesday at NBAA 2016. According to the Miami-based company, it will begin branding efforts over the next year, with signage and identifying equipment at participating dealers.


In an effort to streamline its contract fuel program, the company has introduced a new mobile device functionality for its website. With fewer steps, contract fuel customers can now immediately quote and set up fuel from any mobile device, through its Fuel Finder portal, which will automatically adapt the view based on the platform.


“We continue to invest in making a great experience for our customers,” said Malcolm Hawkins, the company’s senior vice president for business aviation. “Our customers are confronted with a constantly changing environment. Our job is to make their lives easier. With these new improvements, they can get things done faster and on their terms.”


In addition to fuel, WFS also provides support to its FBO customers, including the Air Elite Network, which it sponsors. It also offers FBO technology solutions, the FlyBuys loyalty rewards program and the Avcard aviation charge card. The company operates at more than 8,000 locations in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide.
