Online aviation training provider TrainingPort (Booth 3413) of Vancouver, Canada, won a contract renewal with Canadian fractional provider AirSprint and launched new training course for cabin attendants. TrainingPort’s courses are delivered in 15-minute increments, accessible anytime, anywhere on any platform, providing a high degree of training flexibility.

AirSprint Private Aviation, the operator of Canada’s largest fractional-share fleet, has renewed its training contract, said TrainingPort president Scott Macpherson. AirSprint operates Cessna Citation XL/XLSs, CJ2+s and CJ3+s, and will soon add the Embraer Legacy 450.

According to AirSprint president and COO James Elian, TrainingPort’s “ability to deliver professionally produced and highly effective training courses throughout the year has increased the retention of the course material, and aligns well with AirSprint’s goal of providing industry-leading training to our dedicated staff.”

TrainingPort also introduced “New Heights,” a training program for cabin attendants on business aircraft. Developed with cabin crew training specialists Sterling Aviation Services, the course includes lessons on policies and procedures, theory of flight, emergency equipment and emergency situations and procedures. Jacqueline Bailey, Sterling’s director of inflight, said TrainingPort “helped us divide the program into 26 online lessons that cover all the essential subjects.”
