North Carolina-based Setouchi Aircraft Leasing and Trading Corp. (SALT)—a subsidiary of Japan-based Setouchi Holdings, which also owns Quest Aircraft—was launched at NBAA 2016 to provide financing for Quest Kodiak 100 buyers. The 10-place single-engine turbine STOL Kodiak is certified by 23 civil aviation administrations for operation in 33 countries.
“The executive team of SALT is well versed in aviation financing, market analysis, aircraft sales and management,” said Sam Hill, CEO of both Quest Aircraft and SALT. “Our expertise, when combined with Setouchi’s resources and relationships, allows us to work with worldwide reach.” The aircraft financing company will also help buyers in search of pre-owned regional airliners and corporate aircraft.
