Jet Aviation’s St. Louis location has been named an approved maintenance organization (AMO) for Brazilian-registered aircraft by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). Last week’s certification announcement followed an on-site audit of the facility by Brazlian ANAC officials earlier this year. The St. Louis location offers in-house design and engineering departments, on-site cabinetry, upholstery, composite, avionics, sheet metal and paint shops.
“This means we can immediately begin performing maintenance, modifications and repairs on aircraft registered in Brazil, which has been one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world,” said Stan Wierciszewski, the location’s senior manager for quality. “We’re pleased to offer customers from Brazil our facility at one of the more convenient and experienced locations in the world for them to get all of their aviation services.”
In addition to Brazil, the facility at St. Louis Downtown Airport also carries maintenance approval from EASA, Canada, Mexico, Aruba, Australia, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Isle of Man and Switzerland. It is an Embraer- and Gulfstream-authorized service center, as well as a Dassault Falcon and Hawker center of expertise. It also is an authorized service center for GE, Rolls-Royce and Honeywell turbine engines.
