StandardAero has signed an agreement with General Electric Aviation that will see the Arizona-based MRO provide CF34 hot section and overhaul services to North American operators enrolled in the Bombardier Challenger 601 On-Point program. The deal supports GE's CF34-1A, -3A, -3A2, and -3A1 engines with field service for on-wing hot-section inspections, engine removal and installation services and shop-level MRO.
The move strengthens the relationship between GE and StandardAero. For the MRO, it provides access to a greater market of in-service engines, and gives OnPoint operators more flexibility in their maintenance needs. StandardAero also provides heavy maintenance for the CF34 at its Winnipeg, Canada facility.
