Connecticut-based EASA-approved maintenance training provider Global Jet Services has partnered with UK-based Gama Aviation to establish a new EASA and GCAA (UAE) Part 147-compliant aircraft maintenance training program at the latter’s facility at London-area Fairoaks Airport. The partnership will cover maintenance for aircraft types from Dassault, Gulfstream, Bombardier, BAe and Hawker Beechcraft/Textron Aviation.

Beginning in January, the practical courses will be fully compliant with EASA Part 66, Appendix III requirements and cover a broad cross-section of task types and complexity levels. The first six-week course will cover the Bombardier BD700 series—Global Express, XRS, 5000 and 6000—and consist of B1 and B2 theoretical and practical coursework.

“We see this as a tremendous opportunity, not only to partner with Gama Aviation—another strong leader in global aviation—but also to bring Global Jet Services’ innovative approach to on-location training to a wider, global audience," said Global Jet Services president JD McHenry. “This collaborative effort will give aviation maintenance technicians more cost-effective options with a training solution based on our 25-year record of excellence in the industry.”
