Falcon Aviation Services is expanding the maintenance services offered through its Falcon Engineering branch, the company announced yesterday at MEBAA.
“Falcon Engineering is trusted and certified by market leaders such as Embraer, Bombardier, Gulfstream, Leonardo, Airbus Helicopters and Bell,” said Captain Raman Oberoi, COO of Abu Dhabi-based Falcon. “We are offering different maintenance services on rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft, and will elevate our processes to support customers at the highest standard.”
Underscoring that commitment, Falcon Engineering has added the Gulfstream 550 jet and Leonardo AW169 helicopter to its maintenance approvals, and recently completed its first maintenance action at its facility here at Al Maktoum International Airport. The company also announced a five-year agreement to provide engineering support to the national airline of Kazakhstan, Air Astana.
“We have ongoing growth of third party maintenance to support operators in the region and Europe,” said Nicolas Tejera, director of maintenance.
In another milestone, Falcon Aviation has opened the region’s first dedicated heliport, alongside the company’s new FBO here at the airport, and offers a fleet of helicopters “in readiness to fly passengers over the city and into the heart of Dubai,” the company said.
