Colorado-based Pilatus authorized sales and service provider Tempus Jets has received FAA Part 145 certification for its maintenance department, ahead of the anticipated entry-into-service of the PC-24twinjet in 2017. The Denver company will introduce a new customer service portal to streamline maintenance scheduling, project status communication, and work order approval, with the aim of improving turnaround time.
“We listened to our customers' feedback and took the certification a step further,” said Randall Brooks, the Denver company’s vice president of maintenance and technical services. “By using best practices in business, maintenance trends, training and technology, we have revamped our maintenance capabilities, software and culture to focus on the highest levels of safety and customer satisfaction.”
The company, formerly known as Tempus Aircraft Sales & Services, also operates a second service center in Scottsdale, Arizona, and has satellite maintenance facilities in Santa Ana, California, as well as three locations in Texas. It previously specialized in servicing Pilatus’s single-engine turboprop PC-12.
“This is an exciting time for the company,” noted CEO Jack Gulbin. “We are expanding and adding to the team in Denver and Scottsdale in preparation for the release of the Pilatus PC-24. We are looking forward to applying our greatly improved technical expertise of the PC-12 to our business model for both the PC-12 and PC-24.”
