Simhawk is expanding its global flight simulator marketplace, enabling customers to request initial, recurrent or special certification training courses in addition to flight simulator time. The expanded functions come a little more than three months after Simhawk announced the launch of the marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of flight training services. Eyeing growth in the number of simulator operators and training industry, Simhawk saw an opportunity to connect potential customers with training providers that have excess capacity or last-minute openings.
Simhawk announced the new training capablities during this week’s Flight School Association of North America Conference in Houston. “This new functionality, which is one of many planned enhancements, provides buyers who are looking for approved training courses the simplicity and one-stop shopping,” said Simhawk CEO Chris Weinberg. “Whether someone is looking for hourly simulator time, initial or recurrent training, or programs such as ATP CTP or airline transition training, Simhawk can now meet all of their needs.”
Simhawk users will have a separate option to request courses, in addition to the option to request simulator time. The new course request accommodates up to 24 course slots in a single request. Once requests are submitted, Simhawk searches its network of simulator operators and training providers for pricing and availability and presents options to the buyer.
