Bombardier announced today it has added five new line maintenance stations in Europe, increasing the number of its worldwide support locations by more than 50 percent. The new centers are located in Linz, Austria; Nice and Cannes in France; and Milan and Olbia (Sardinia) in Italy. They join nine existing stations authorized to provide scheduled and unscheduled line maintenance and AOG (aircraft on ground) support for Bombardier Business Aircraft’s Learjet, Challenger and Global lines. All 14 are linked to Bombardier’s 24/7 Customer Response Centre and the Canadian OEM’s Customer Support Team.

Bombardier employs approximately 1,000 technicians system-wide. The network has completed around 45,000 maintenance events to date. Bombardier fields a total of 17 Customer Response Team mobile units worldwide, trained and equipped to service all three business jet families. In addition, Bombardier has close to 50 authorized service centers around the globe.

"This expansion is an integral part of our overall strategy to enhance OEM support for our European operators, including the opening or our brand new heavy maintenance facility at London Biggin Hill Airport,” said Jean-Christophe Gallagher, v-p and general manager customer experience for Bombardier Business Aircraft.
