Piper Aircraft announced a personalized interior/exterior package and an available five-blade composite propeller for the M600 turboprop single today at Sun ’n‘ Fun 2017. It also announced that an M600 with these enhancements will go on a European tour after making its debut at the Aero Friedrichshafen show later this week in Germany.
Dubbed Expression, or EXP, the $22,500 interior/exterior option allows customers greater customization of their aircraft. Inside, this includes enhancements such as custom ceiling bezels, leather-wrapped yokes and cockpit assist handles and different stitching color and patterns for seats. In addition, customers can opt for embroidered or embossed logos, customized threshold and cockpit plates and customer logos.
For the exterior, customers have a choice of predetermined or newly developed paint schemes. The newly developed paint schemes are available exclusively on the M600 EXP and include four custom design options with the customer selecting the paint colors. The M600 EXP also comes with a set of Tumi luggage that matches the interior trim color selected for the aircraft.
Meanwhile, Piper said that the optional Hartzell five-blade composite swept-tip propeller for the M600 decreases noise and vibration, as well as enhances ramp appeal. The propeller, which is 15 pounds lighter than the standard four-blade metal one it replaces, is already FAA certified.
An M600 with both new options was ferried to OK Aviation, Piper’s dealer in the Czech Republic, last week. Following Friedrichshafen, the turboprop single will go on a three-month tour of Europe, including a stop at EBACE next month. After touring the region, it will make stops in Africa and Asia before likely heading to Australia, according to Piper.
