Advent Aircraft Systems has named Englewood, Colorado-based Mayo Aviation an authorized dealer. Under the agreement, Mayo, a charter and management company that operates its own Part 145 repair station, will offer Advent anti-skid braking system installations on Beechcraft King Airs.

“Mayo Aviation is excited about our new partnership with Advent Aircraft Systems, knowing that its brake systems offer an economical solution that ensures our customers' safety," stated Greg Laabs, general manager for Mayo's Part 145 repair station.

The Advent eABS is designed as a lightweight, low-cost braking system for turbine aircraft with an mtow of 19,000 pounds or less. The lightweight systems are designed for easy, “non-invasive” installation to minimize downtime, Mayo noted. The brakes provide anti-skid braking without the need for power-boosted brakes or heavy hydraulic accumulators.

The systems are available for the King Air B200 and B300 series. Other applications include the Pilatus PC-12 and Eclipse 500/550.
