Southern California-based West Coast Aviation Services recently took delivery of the first Piaggio Avanti EVO in the U.S., the company announced this week. A second EVO will be delivered later this month, joining the company’s fleet of turboprops and business jets.
West Coast Aviation Services inked a contract at NBAA 2016 for five Piaggio Avanti EVOs, as well as options for four more. The John Wayne County Airport-based operator intends to use them for charter and fractional ownership. “I’m excited to introduce the first of many Piaggio EVOs to the region,” said West Coast Aviation Services founder and president Gary Standel. “This new line of aircraft with its spacious interior, increased airspeed and excellent overall performance adds to the diversity of our fleet and provides yet another option for our fractional shareowners and charter clients, alike.”
The operator also launched West Coast EVO Partners, its fractional-ownership program tailored for the Piaggio turboprops. Through July 1, EVO Partners is offering a special promotion that “significantly reduces” the initial purchase price and lowers monthly fees.
