Seattle-based aftermarket aircraft equipment manufacturer Raisbeck Engineering has received STC approval for its swept-blade propellers for the Beechcraft King Air B300 series from Argentina’s Adminstración de Aviación Civil (ANAC). The advanced-design props, which feature aluminum construction, offer improvement in all facets of operation including takeoff acceleration, better climb performance, faster cruise and landing deceleration, as well as diminishing noise in the cabin.
Since receiving FAA certification in February 2016, the swept-blade propeller has earned approval from 37 authorities, including those in Canada, Europe (EASA), Brazil, Mexico and Australia.
“Our goal of certifying Raisbeck Performance Systems in every corner of the globe has moved one step closer with this approval as we continue to work closely with Beechcraft/Textron Aviation and our customers to meet their needs,” said Billy Lally, Raisbeck’s vice president of customer support.
