Bombardier Business Aircraft has expanded its training capacity at its Dallas Fort-Worth Airport Texas facility with a newly FAA-certified level-D Challenger 300 flight simulator. This augments its existing Challenger 350 training program at the center, which now houses six level-D flight simulators, a flight training device, 21 classrooms and several part-task training devices. The facility can train up to 3,000 pilots and 280 maintenance technicians per year.

“As the aircraft manufacturer, no one knows the aircraft better. Bombardier is committed to offering in-house OEM-developed courseware for flight and technical training, so our operators have the most up-to-date, tailored knowledge and technology,” said Bombardier Business Aircraft vice president of customer support and training Andy Nureddin.

The company also has five full-flight simulators at its training center in Montreal. More than 5,300 pilots and technicians trained at Bombardier’s Montreal and Dallas training centers last year, logging a total of 34,400 hours of flight and technical training.

As Bombardier’s authorized training provider for the Challenger series, CAE also delivers business aviation training for Bombardier aircraft on 16 full-flight simulators located across CAE’s global network, which includes facilites in Amsterdam; Burgess Hill, UK; Dallas; Dubai; and Morristown, New Jersey.
