California MRO Boosts Avionics Product Offerings

Longtime California MRO provider SoCal Jets has been named an authorized dealer for Satcom Direct and Astronics’s Aerosat connectivity systems, as well as for Honweywell BendixKing avionics. Based on these agreements, it can now offer the latest products from these companies, such as Satcom Direct’s SDR router, which allows customers to seamlessly access satellite, air-to-ground or 3G cellular networks, as well as its patented Global One Number, which enables simplified calling to inflight aircraft anywhere in the world.

In business for more than three decades, the Van Nuys Airport-based company offers full maintenance and avionics service on Gulfstream, Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Learjet and Citation models. With many of its clients hailing from Mexico, SoCal Jets also holds certification from that country’s DGAC.
