Aircraft simulator time broker Simhawk has made several enhancements to its platform to make transactions easier for both buyers and sellers of flight simulator time. The company also claims it now provides access to 93 percent of all civil flight simulators around the world.
According to Simhawk CEO Chris Weinberg, the new simulator search tool enables buyers to search “all of the simulators in the world” in just two clicks. Results can be filtered by specific aircraft models, engines, locations, regulatory approvals and training company. In addition, buyers can specify other requirements such as schedule and budget.
With the new system, sellers can use their own terms and conditions and contracts to sell simulator time or training via Simhawk, which has also eliminated commissions on completed transactions. An improved schedule interface also allows sellers to respond to requests for training courses that include activities such as ground school, as well as specify number of training hours without specific dates.
Another change is that buyers and sellers can now see each other’s identities when using the platform.
