Aerocor Develops 'Certified' Program for Eclipse VLJs

Very light jet sales specialist Aerocor has rolled out a new certified preowned program for Eclipse 500s and 550s. The program covers inspections and first-year scheduled maintenance, as well as operational support. Under the program, Aerocor pre-screens qualified aircraft to ensure they meet certain standards.

To qualify, an aircraft must have complete logs, be on an engine service plan, and be equipped with PPG windshields and Tamagawa landing gear actuators, Aerocor said. The aircraft undergoes an evaluation flight test and review process to ensure the aircraft meets all mandatory service bulletins and critical system updates. A 24-month inspection is due within the first 12 months and 300 flight hours of ownership. The program includes a credit for the first six-month battery capacity checks and aileron gap checks. The program further provides post-sale support, including type-rating training.

Aerocor currently has two certified preowned Eclipse jets for sale, one of which is already under contract, it said.
