Content Body

Airborne medical transport provider Air Medical Group Holding (AMGH) has signed a multi-year contract with Hughes Aerospace for helicopter instrument procedures, RNP routes, procedure maintenance and heliport services. Hughes (Booth C4055) will provide the latest in helicopter LPV, LP and LNAV instrument approaches, departures, and RNP 0.3 routes for all digital geo-referenced charting products.

“After reviewing all of the options for special-use instrument approach procedures and IFR infrastructure development, Hughes was the obvious choice for a number of reasons,” explained Mike LaMee, director of operations with AMGH subsidiary Med-Trans. “The quality of the product, timeliness of development and maintenance support provided by Hughes is unmatched.” He added that Hughes is providing support and guidance as AMGH continues to expand its IFR infrastructure.
