The FAA approved Jet Aviation’s MRO facility in Hong Kong to support 48- and 36-month inspections for U.S.-registered Dassault Falcon 7X/8X and Falcon 900-series jets. This approval extends an existing FAA approval to support 48-month inspections for the 7X/8X and 36-month inspections for the Falcon 900 series.
“Jet Aviation has a longstanding relationship with Dassault Falcon, and we are very pleased to extend our support to Falcon owners and operators of U.S.-registered aircraft flying in the region,” said John Riggir, general manager of Jet Aviation's MRO and FBO facility in Singapore and v-p of the company's Asia operations. “There has been an increase in demand for local, more accessible services, and these approvals improve our ability to meet the needs of the Dassault Falcon customer base in Asia.”
Jet Aviation Hong Kong features a 99,027-sq-ft hangar and holds Hong Kong CAD maintenance repair station approval, an FAA repair station certificate, and mainland China JMM approval for PRC-registered aircraft. The MRO offers inspections, defect rectifications, line maintenance, and AOG support. In addition, the company has a 24/7 aircraft management and charter operation in Hong Kong that manages 29 aircraft, including a Falcon 7X.
In November, Jet Aviation was named best MRO for its Hong Kong and Singapore facilities at the Asian Business Aviation Association’s Icons of Aviation Asia awards.
