The College of Aeronautics at Hallmark University recently received a Gulfstream III, along with additional tools and support from Gulfstream Aerospace, for use in its maintenance training programs. The San Antonio, Texas-based institution said the aircraft donation, along with the Gulfstream support, will enable its students to train directly on a corporate aircraft, expanding the school’s capabilities and expertise in this arena.

“Not only are Hallmark students able to learn directly on venerable aircraft such as the Gulfstream III, but a partnership with Gulfstream Aerospace has generously made available its Computerized Maintenance Program (CMP) so that our students are using the same work instructions and platform as Gulfstream technicians around the world,” said Hallmark University president Brent Fessler.

The Gulfstream III donor had cited Hallmark’s accelerated program, along with its character development, in choosing the institution’s College of Aeronautics for the donation, the university said, noting its aviation maintenance technician program is designed to enable students to graduate in 15 months with a full education and hands-on experience. Hallmark offers graduate and undergraduate degrees in aeronautics, business, healthcare, and information technology.
