South Carolina’s Columbia Aviation, one of two service providers at Columbia Metropolitan Airport, is the latest FBO to join the Avfuel-branded fuel network. “Our new partnership with Avfuel will help us provide streamlined transactions; competitive, reliable fuel; attractive rewards; and unparalleled customer service,” said Nick Cochran, the FBO’s vice president of operations. “This is beneficial for everyone involved: passengers, flight departments, and our own staff members.”

In operation for more than three decades, the company is known for its experienced staff and southern hospitality. It offers a pilots' lounge, crew cars, conference room, flight-planning room, canteen, on-field customs, and now Avfuel contract fuel.

“We are proud to be aligned with the Columbia Aviation team and are pleased to offer our customers a new gateway to the heart and capital of South Carolina,” said Joel Hirst, the global fuel provider’s vice president of sales.

To celebrate its joining the 650-plus member network, Columbia Aviation is offering triple Avtrip points per gallon through the end of June.
