Charter provider Jet Linx, which saw its leased hangar at Houston Hobby Airport destroyed in a violent microburst in April, has moved from the temporary building it occupied since the storm into a renovated 58,000-sq-ft facility on the Million Air campus. Located on the west side of the airport, the company’s new member-only terminal is more than twice the size of its initial hangar on the opposite side of the airport which it leased from Jet Aviation. A private lounge and conference room adjoin the aircraft storage space.
“We now have a new location with a bigger private terminal, bigger hangar, and better location to serve our clients,” said company president and CEO Jamie Walker. “The secret to our success is the resilience of our dedicated local team, and we will continue our unwavering commitment to delivering the most personalized private aviation experience.”
Omaha, Nebraska-based Jet Linx operates 17 private base locations nationwide.
“We took this opportunity to not only rebuild but also to expand our private terminal, to elevate the experience even further for our discerning members,” added Lance Welch, the aircraft operator’s Houston base president.
