Prague-based ground handler Euro Jet, celebrating its 10th anniversary celebrations in Orlando exhibiting alongside Avinode (Booth 4114), has opened three new facilities this year. The company, which is incorporated in the Isle of Man, has added facilities in Sofia (Bulgaria), Warsaw (Poland) and Belgrade (Serbia), and also moved into its Zagreb lounge at the new general aviation (GA) terminal in the Croatian city.
At Sofia, Euro Jet opened a new crew facility in the ramp-control building, becoming the only VIP handler right next to the GA ramp. A new Mercedes Viano provides transport to the main terminal and to/from customer aircraft.
In Warsaw’s Frederic Chopin Airport, the ground handler opened a new lounge in the GA terminal. “This is the only lounge located on the street side of the airport," Poland country manager Marcin Zak said.
At Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport, the company opened an office next to the GA parking area. Airport manager Strahinja Djordjevic said, “Our customers can now walk just 50 meters from the aircraft to our office. No other provider at Belgrade Airport can provide this convenience.”
Euro Jet also has similar lounge and support facilities for customers and their crews at Prague and Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Tivat (Montenegro), Bucharest and Constanta (Romania), and Poprad (Poland).
“When we see that there is a need for a proper lounge and office space that our customers can utilize to either take a break from a long flight or plan their next one, then we are doing whatever we can to open one in that location,” said Euro Jet CEO Charlie Bodnar.
