Content Body

With Gulfstream’s announcement of its flagship G700, FlightSafety International (FSI) has begun the behind-the-scenes work to develop the training infrastructure needed to support the jet. FSI, Gulfstream’s official factory-authorized training provider for more than four decades, is designing a new full-flight simulator for the aircraft.

“We are pleased to once again be selected by Gulfstream to support the development of a new aircraft,” said David Davenport, FSI president and CEO. “This further demonstrates the trust and confidence Gulfstream has in FlightSafety’s ability and commitment to provide the highest quality training and outstanding service owners and operators of the new G700 aircraft deserve and expect.”

The initial G700 sim will be installed at FSI’s training facility in Savannah, Georgia, adjacent to Gulfstream’s headquarters. Customer training will coincide with the aircraft’s service entry, FSI said, and additional locations will be determined by customer needs.
