Embraer Executive Jets delivered 27 aircraft in the third quarter, three more than in the same quarter a year ago, the Brazilian airframer announced today. The total includes 15 Phenom light jets (one 100 and fourteen 300s) and 12 large jets (four Legacy 450s, one Legacy 500, and seven Praetor 600s), compared with 17 light jets (15 Phenom 300s and two Phenom 100s) and seven large jets (three Legacy 450s, two Legacy 500s, and two Legacy 650s) in the third quarter of 2018.


For the first nine months of 2019, Embraer has delivered eight more business jets than the same period last year. It delivered 42 Phenom light jets (seven 100s and thirty-five 300s) and 21 large jets (two Legacy 650s, five Legacy 450s, six Legacy 500s and eight Praetor 600s) this year versus 40 Phenom light jets (eight 100s and thirty-two 300s) and 15 large jets (three Legacy 650s, nine Legacy 450s, and three Legacy 500s) in same period last year.


Highlights for the third quarter include a purchase agreement from Flexjet for Phenom 300s, Praetor 500s, and Praetor 600s valued at $1.4 billion, which was announced last week at NBAA-BACE in Las Vegas. During the quarter, Embraer also received Praetor 500 type certification from ANAC, FAA, and EASA.
