Content Body

Embraer’s enhanced Phenom 300E with Bossa Nova cabin interior was recently named the winner of the International Yacht & Aviation Award for Private Jet Design in the small/medium jet category, the first example of which the Brazilian airframer delivered in August.

The Bossa Nova interior, first introduced on Embraer’s Praetor 600 super-midsize jet, features larger windows to draw more natural light in the cabin, as well as a piano black finish with gold trim on the tables, monuments, and side ledges. Additional features include carbon fiber accents, unique stitching, and an upper tech panel that reflects light and color like a mirror that serves as a touchscreen, providing flight information and other options to passengers.

The Bossa Nova package adds $150,000 for trim and finishing only. “Bossa nova” is a Portuguese term for “new trend,” and Embraer considers its design to be “evocative of smooth Brazilian jazz.”
