Content Body

Helicopter MRO Heli-One received a letter of intent (LOI) to support Coldstream Helicopters’ AS332L/L1 fleet across the Americas. Initially valued at $20 million, the deal includes critical component and engine maintenance, support that the companies said will remove complexity, shorten lead times, lower the operating costs for Coldstream, and improve availability for its expanding customer base.

“The criticality, especially in the current global environment, of securing and shortening the supply chain has never been higher,” said Coldstream president and CEO Robert Gallagher. “Our customers are asking us to do more, to gain efficiencies wherever possible, and to perform at the highest standard in some of the most challenging conditions.”

Noting the long value chain tied to performance, Gallagher continued, “We want to maximize every opportunity to improve that value chain, including on-time delivery of high-value components.”

Kevin Spengler, v-p of Heli-One, called the deal a “tremendous opportunity to support a critical market for us.”
