Content Body

The launch of Global Trip Manager and a partnership that brings the PPS flight planning system to its portfolio of services are among the new features available to customers of UAS International Trip Support (Booth A22).

The web and mobile-based Global Trip Manager application provides more control of planning activities and “delivers fast, efficient, and simple access to all trip details, from anywhere and at any time,” according to UAS. Features include real-time tracking of all service requests and on-demand flight status checks; flight briefs, fuel releases, hotel vouchers, and GenDecs; API integration with passport, visa, and health information; and chat capabilities linked directly to the team/trip owner.

The app was designed “to overcome the majority of minor points that operators experience and give them total and immediate control of all trip planning activities,” said Mohammad Husary, UAS co-owner, co-founder, and executive president.

UAS has also teamed with Denmark’s Air Support to add the latter’s PPS flight planning to its technology offering, with UAS offering 24/7 expert support to PPS subscribers. Used by hundreds of operators in more than 90 countries, PPS provides worldwide coverage and can be customized to individual operators’ requirements.

The support UAS offers is “the real benefit of accessing PPS” through its platform, said Husary. “Too often, system issues or lack of knowledge about certain locations means relying exclusively on an internal team. With UAS’s experts available to support or take over the flight plan at a moment’s notice, operators can ensure they get the most out of the platform.”

The Dubai-based trip support specialist is demoing its new technology offerings at its EBACE display.

UAS is also participating in a pair of panel discussions at Palexpo at Exhibit Hall 1: operations director James Collas will join the panel for “Operational Challenges in the Next 12 months,” on Monday at 2 p.m.; and Husary will discuss “Long Term Strategies for the Future of Business Aviation" on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

Additionally, UAS is hosting a panel of its own, “The Forward Discussion,” on Monday at 11 a.m. and 2:30 pm at its booth.
