Embraer and Gulfstream recently appointed personnel to key communications roles. Andreza Alberto, who has been director of operations at Embraer’s Gavião Peixoto unit, is taking the role of v-p of people, ESG, and corporate communications for the Brazilian manufacturer. Angie Amberg, meanwhile, joined Gulfstream as director of global external communications.

In her new role, Alberto succeeds Carlos Alberto Griner, who is leaving the company. A 17-year company veteran, she has led the Gavião Peixoto unit, which has more than 2,000 employees and is focused on production of defense aircraft and executive jets. Before that, Alberto held roles as a production manager and manufacturing engineering supervisor.

“Andreza is a great leader of people, and a professional focused on results and the constant search for efficiency. Her skills are fully aligned with the new organizational culture we are implementing,” said Embraer president and CEO Francisco Gomes Neto.

Meanwhile, Amberg will lead Gulfstream's external communications, including media relations, social media, and marketing quality assurance teams. She brings more than two decades of media and public relations experience to the position, most recently as head of global brand marketing and corporate communications at Cardlytics. She also held communication roles with Truist Bank, FleishmanHillard, and Cushman/Amberg Communications

“Angie brings a wealth of impressive knowledge and invaluable experience to Gulfstream’s communications team,” said Gulfstream senior v-p and chief marketing officer Jeannine Haas.
