Jet Aviation has delivered five customized Bell 407GXi helicopters to Nautilus Aviation, a helicopter service provider based in the northern part of Australia. The aircraft will be used for charter, firefighting, utility, and tourism work.
Jet Aviation is an independent Bell representative in Australia and the five helicopters were outfitted at the company’s facility in Bankstown. Modifications included air conditioning, emergency floats, emergency locator transmitters, and cabin audio. The company also managed the process of reassembly after shipping and issuance of Australian airworthiness certificates for the aircraft, which were delivered between fourth-quarter 2022 and second-quarter 2023.
“The delivery of these five aircraft is the latest milestone in our decades-long relationship with Nautilus, and we are honored to remain their partner of choice for rotary sales, modification, and MRO,” said Jet Aviation v-p pacific MRO and rotary sales Ian D’Arcy. “As a Bell independent representative and customer service facility, Jet Aviation has delivered a total of 13 new Bell aircraft in Australia and New Zealand in the past year.”
Jet Aviation has five rotary customization and maintenance facilities in Australia and the Middle East, including two RBI Hawker facilities in partnership with Bell Helicopters. The company also offers helicopter sales.
