The HondaJet Elite II is on display for the first time at LABACE, at the Líder Aviação exhibit. Lider is Honda Aircraft’s exclusive representative in Brazil.

The HondaJet Elite II's longer range of 1,547 nm, 110 nm more than its predecessor, allows flights to all the capitals in the Brazilian northeast from São Paulo, according to Anderson Markiewicz, Lider's aircraft sales and acquisitions director. “It is important to highlight that this model maintains the HondaJet characteristic of better fuel efficiency, with lower greenhouse gas emissions than other twin-engine jets of similar size.”

The aircraft is equipped with an autothrottle, which reduces the pilot's workload. Another safety addition is Honda Aircraft's Advanced Steering Augmentation System, which helps pilots maintain control after landing. New ground spoilers also help improve braking performance.

The exterior design features two added paint versions, matte black and white with a red stripe, in addition to the existing schemes. The interior boasts new onyx and metallic color schemes, including wood-tone elements on the seats and floor.

Among the innovations that bring added comfort to the HondaJet is an improvement in the aircraft's end-to-end acoustic treatment. In addition, the over-the-wing engine mounting system frees up space in the cabin that otherwise would be taken up by engine systems and structure.

“This design, in addition to providing a very low level of internal noise, also makes it possible to increase the space for luggage,” said Markiewicz.

"We have been working hard with the sale of new and used aircraft, import, nationalization, and financing structuring, in addition to the Líder acquisitions service," he said.

In turn, the company's maintenance division has given increasing emphasis to retrofit projects. “In addition to the customizations requested by aircraft owners, some equipment upgrades have been frequent to meet new airworthiness requirements or even keep up with the evolution of technology,” said Bruna Assumpção, superintendent director of Líder Aviação.

Assumpção believes that the executive aviation market is on an upswing. Demand for charter has surpassed pre-pandemic levels. Last year, Belo Horizonte-based Lider registered a 15 percent increase in the number of employees at its charter and management unit.

Líder Aviação has positive expectations of LABACE. Company executives are present to receive customers and partners, reinforcing Lider's performance in various segments of executive aviation during its 65th year of business. “Our wide-ranging performance means that Líder maintains its strength and continues to invest in innovation, maintaining the excellence and safety of services,” said COO Junia Hermont.
