The International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) announced additional industry partner companies this week at NBAA-BACE. They include 4Air, Daher, and Metrojet, along with renewals from operators DuPont and GCI Communications.
“Our member associations and industry partners provide leadership in building, through IBAC, a global venue for advocacy and thought leadership to engage stakeholders important to our industry’s growth,” said IBAC director general Kurt Edwards.
To date, the industry partner program features 11 companies from Canada, France, Hong Kong, Switzerland, the UAE, UK, and U.S. Program leaders include Bombardier, CAE, Corporate Jet Investor, Jet Aviation, MedAire, and UAS International Trip Support.
IBAC’s industry partner program is open to business aviation manufacturers and service providers, including MROs, flight operations, aircraft management firms, transactional players, and other sectors. Industry partners assist IBAC in shaping standards before they are codified by the civil aviation authorities of various countries.
IBAC promotes and manages industry standards for best safety practices via its International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations, International Standard for Business Aviation Handling, safety management tool kit, SMS e-learning, and crew card. Its Carbon Credit Exchange provides real-time carbon offsetting.
