Magellan Jets is rebooting its focus on corporate charter flight clients with the launch this week of its new Magellan Business jet card. The program announced on Tuesday gives companies the option of fixing program terms and rates for a 36-month period, with a minimum annual commitment of 100 flight hours.
The Boston-based private aviation group aims to supplement or replace the capacity of corporate flight departments for travel associated with events such as financial road shows, board meetings, and confidential negotiations over mergers and acquisitions. With Magellan Business it is now offering new terms including the following: refundable deposits that don’t expire; three-year price locks with the option to add more funds without penalty; multiple aircraft available for daily use; service guarantees; no blackout days for flights; and all aircraft equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity.
Magellan doesn’t own the aircraft it arranges for clients to fly in, instead sourcing these from its network of charter operators. “With Magellan Business, we’ve given corporations the tools they need to gain a competitive edge through their jet travel,” said Magellan Jets president and co-founder Anthony Tivnan. “This program delivers our corporate guests an unprecedented level of safety, efficiency and service for private aviation support that can pivot and move with the speed and dexterity their enterprises require, all backed by the personalized client experience they’ve come to expect.”
