Embraer’s executive jet division posted its highest deliveries over the past seven years and a 12 percent increase year-over-year, according to the Brazilian airframer’s year-end report released late yesterday.

The São José dos Campos-based company handed over 115 business jets in 2023, including 49 in the final quarter of the year alone. That tally consisted of 74 Phenoms (11 Phenom 100s and 63 Phenom 300s) and 41 midsize Praetors—divided nearly evenly between the 500 and 600 models.

Embraer noted that it continues to face supply chain delays that affected its delivery total, which was just under its 2023 guidance of 120 to 130 deliveries. The OEM’s private jet business finished the year with a book-to-bill ratio of more than 1.3:1 and its backlog rose by 10 percent year-over-year to $4.3 billion, a growth of $400 million.

The services and support division also posted a $400 million increase compared to 2022, for a backlog of $3.1 billion, the highest level the manufacturer has seen in its history. That includes renewed contracts for integrated logistical support services and airframe maintenance programs in both its commercial and business aviation segments. Embraer recently announced that it would double its U.S. maintenance service capacity for executive jets.

On the other side of the house, the company delivered 181 commercial E-Jets last year, along with one C-390 Millennium military jet transport.
