Elliott Aviation has delivered its first Garmin G1000 NXi avionics system installation at its Atlanta facility. Laying claim as the industry's leading installer of Garmin turbine avionics retrofits, Elliott said the achievement underscores the company's commitment to enhancing operational efficiency across all locations.
Garmin says it designed the G1000 NXi flight deck to optimize aircraft performance. The upgrade includes the GFC 700 digital autopilot, improved situational awareness, and high-resolution, customizable displays. Some of its features include SurfaceWatch runway identification and alerting, optional Connext wireless cockpit connectivity, HSI mapping on the primary flight display, animated Nexrad datalink weather, and autopilot-coupled visual approaches down to pilot-selectable minimums.
"Adding the G1000 NXi capability to our Atlanta location provides our customers in the East and Southeast regions with a convenient option for their King Air upgrades,” noted Elliott Aviation vice president of avionics programs Bill Forbes. “This aligns with our mission to continuously deliver innovative products with exceptional customer service.”
