Proving the axiom that “Everything is bigger in Texas,” Atlantic Aviation now offers two immense private hangars with attached office facilities at Dallas Love Field (DAL). The sprawling hangars alone would cover nearly seven football fields. But an additional 32,000 square feet of Class A office space is attached to accommodate everyone from executive staff and support for a large flight department to the most discerning VIP visitors. All of this is immediately adjacent to Atlantic Aviation’s terminal, featuring legendary customer service.
Welcome to your new base of operations
Access to the complex is through a safe and secure private gated entrance. Behind the scenes, an emergency generator backs up the security system, gate, and doors in case of power failures, to ensure your operation never misses a beat. Vehicles stay cool under multiple covered parking spaces in well-lit and secure parking. The spacious ramp accommodates multiple, large business aircraft with convenient direct access to Taxiway Bravo at KDAL, allowing a short taxi for arrivals and departures.
As you approach the hangar from the tarmac, you pass through three-story-high floating doors and find yourself in a cavernous–but comfortable–space. One hangar would be quite impressive. This complex offers you a matching pair. Both of the19,986 square-foot bays feature pristine epoxy floors connected by a wide hallway with maintenance rooms, as well as a shipping and receiving area. Each bay is climate-controlled with air conditioning and huge ceiling fans to beat the warm Texas summers. And infrared heaters for the rest of the year.
Take a look around
Efficient LED lighting brightens the space even more. Electrical floor pits with 75-foot power cords provide easy access and supply power in every configuration possible for aircraft from turboprops to large business jets. There is even a dedicated room for an air compressor with multiple connections. Fall protection rail systems promote best safety practices. And lest the smallest detail be overlooked, de-ionized water is supplied for aircraft washing, and a wet sprinkler system (no foam) is fitted throughout the facility.
Built for people and planes
As one might imagine, this facility pays its occupants the same fanatical attention that is given to the infrastructure. An executive lounge, lobby, and conference room are accessible on the main floor from the street, with elevators that dispatch guests to the second level overlooking the hangar floors. There is a wing exclusively dedicated to executive offices. A separate training workshop ensures uninterrupted training sessions.
As in the hangars, efficient LED lighting runs overhead. Expansive office space, collaborative work areas, and break rooms are scattered throughout. Wi-Fi and GPS repeaters provide strong signals throughout the complex, in a nod to a contemporary workforce that refuses to be tethered to their desk.
A beautiful day in the neighborhood
The complex is a short hop from ultra-exclusive Highland Park, the epicenter of the stateliest residences and high-end retail in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Those who visit this facility have a wide variety of nearby options ranging from tony Oak Lawn and Uptown to the funkier urban scene of the Deep Ellum and Lower Greenville neighborhoods. The lucky occupants of this sprawling complex are also availed of the best the area offers, including engineering talent from prestigious universities such as Southern Methodist University.
