Aviation Partners, an innovator in aircraft winglet technology, is collaborating with 4Air to offer emissions footprint assessments to its clients. The partnership with 4Air, a provider of aviation sustainability solutions, aims to help aircraft operators better understand and manage their environmental impact.
Noting that its winglet technology has contributed to reducing more than 150 million tons of carbon emissions since 1992, Seattle-based Aviation Partners will now provide new clients with 4Air-certified sustainability tracking for one year following winglet installation. These assessments will give operators detailed insights into their carbon footprint, with the goal of guiding them toward compliance with aviation sustainability regulations.
According to Aviation Partners, its winglets “reduce drag and fuel burn, extending aircraft range and improving takeoff and climb performance.”
“Aviation Partners winglets have helped transform aircraft, increasing efficiency and performance, while giving owners and operators a path to achieve their sustainability goals,” said company president Gary Dunn. He emphasized that the partnership with 4Air enables clients to commit to verified and measurable sustainability efforts.
4Air, known for its four-level rating system that supports the aviation industry's journey toward net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050, has already offset more than 4 million metric tons of carbon emissions. Through this collaboration, Aviation Partners customers will gain access to sustainability resources and expert guidance to reduce their environmental impact.
