Content Body

PS Engineering has introduced the PAC37, a plug-and-play audio panel solution designed to replace aging Baker series 1045 analog audio panels in light to medium business jets.

The PAC37 offers a seamless upgrade for legacy jets, providing modern functionality while maintaining backward compatibility, making it a direct drop-in replacement with no need for aircraft modification.

“Even when upgrading the primary avionics suite, many legacy audio panels are often left untouched,” PS Engineering said.

The PAC37 includes advanced features such as independent Bluetooth capability for each audio panel, IntelliVOX auto-squelch, push-to-talk intercom, and illuminated selection indicators for front panel user controls. Additional capabilities, such as support for extra headsets, stereo sound, and MultiTalker Dimensional COM Audio Location, can be added “with additional wiring on a separate connector,” the company said.

PS Engineering's PAC37 is undergoing testing for FAA technical standard order (TSO) authorization, with availability expected by the end of this year. The initial launch will focus on Gulfstream platforms, with Dassault Falcon and Bombardier Challenger jets to follow. List prices start at $28,995 for a two-panel shipset.

The PAC37 is on display at Trimec Aviation’s booth this week at NBAA-BACE.
