World Fuel Services and Hill Aircraft, a service provider at Atlanta’s Fulton County Airport (KFTY), have partnered to bring the first continual supplies of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to Georgia. The long-tenured FBO will designate a specific truck to handle the blended fuel.

“With Hill Aircraft’s history in Atlantic since 1955, we are proud to be an independent FBO taking the lead on SAF,” said Andrew Ash, the company’s v-p and general manager. “The investment we are making in alternative jet fuel reaffirms our focus on the future to not only provide the best service possible for our guests but also our interest to support innovative products that help meet their needs.”

World Fuel also expanded its global network with two new international Air Elite FBO members and a U.S.-branded dealer location.

Jet-TNCA, the lone FBO on the island of Aruba offers onsite customs, immigration services and U.S. Customs and Border Protection pre-clearance to the U.S. from its facility at Queen Beatrix International Airport (TNCA) in Oranjestad. Situated separately from the commercial terminal, the airport-operated location features a NATA Safety 1st-certified staff, recently refurbished passenger lobby, concierge desk, bar, VIP lounge, conference room, and pilot lounge.

Its 3.5-acre ramp has ample parking, and with Aruba located outside the hurricane belt offers a safe refuge for aircraft storage. “Striving to transition into a premier service provider in the Caribbean region, this collaboration is a crucial driver of our growth and success,” said Jo-Anne Arends, the company’s aviation business development executive.

Extending the global network’s Asian footprint is Wira FBO at Indonesia’s Halim Perdanakusuma International Airport (WIHH), located 20 minutes from Jakarta’s business district. The FBO offers easy access to the ramp, conference rooms, and a VIP lounge overlooking the apron where customers can receive quick in-house CIQ processing.

“We are proud to be the first Indonesian FBO to have joined the FBN network of Air Elite,” said Lingga Sadoko Bijoyo, the FBO’s director. “We strive and commit ourselves to continue providing the best of ground services to our clients as its members.”

Tucson Jet Center—one of several FBOs at Tucson International Airport (KTUS)—is the newest member of the World Fuel branded dealer network. A CAA-preferred FBO,  the location has passenger pilot lounges, coffee bar, conference room, snooze room, showers, crew cars, and onsite car rental, in addition to available hangar space.
