Canada-based aviation services provider Skyservice has received supplemental type certificate (STC) approval from the FAA and Brazil’s national civil aviation agency (ANAC) for the installation of the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna on Bombardier’s Challenger 604, 605, and 650, as well as the Gulfstream G280.
These recent approvals, along with its previous authorization from Transport Canada (TCCS), now enable aircraft owners and operators across North and Latin America to upgrade to the system, providing global high-speed in-flight connectivity for both passengers and crew.
The company is now offering slots for jet owners looking to modernize their WiFi equipment, and suggests scheduling the work to coincide with any major inspections to minimize downtime.
“With FAA, ANAC, and TCCA STCs secured, Skyservice is uniquely positioned to service operators in the United States, Canada, and Brazil,” said company president and CEO Benjamin Murray, adding his team’s deep technical expertise and forward-thinking approach make it the go-to partner for installing the Gogo system. “This isn’t just about faster internet—it’s about revolutionizing the passenger experience, unlocking real-time operational efficiencies and future-proofing aircraft with cutting-edge technology that protects long-term asset value.”
