Gulfstream Aerospace’s fleet of corporate, flight demonstration, and support airplanes have flown more than 3 million nm on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) blends. All of the company’s aircraft flown to the NBAA-BACE 2025 static display—the G800, G700, G600, and G400—also burned SAF en route to the show.

At its Savannah, Georgia headquarters, Gulfstream maintains a supply of SAF and this year increased usage of that fuel nearly 50% compared to last year. Gulfstream has pioneered SAF use, not just blended SAF for its fleet, but also was the first OEM to fly on 100% neat SAF and the first OEM to receive NBAA Sustainable Flight Department Accreditation in all four available categories: flight, operations, ground support, and infrastructure.

In 2023, the company was the first to fly transatlantic with both engines running on 100% SAF made of hydroprocessed esters and fatty acids. In 2024, Gulfstream completed ground-emission testing of 100% neat SAF containing zero sulfur.

“Flying more than 3 million nm on SAF blends is a testament to our commitment to sourcing and demonstrating the benefits of SAF,” said Gulfstream president Mark Burns. “We have long been at the forefront of sustainability innovations, and this latest milestone further showcases our leadership and efforts to advance business aviation’s overarching sustainability goals.”
