Nomad Technics has become an authorized dealer for Gogo Business Aviation, allowing it to perform installation, maintenance, and system upgrades across Gogo’s suite of purpose-built business aviation connectivity solutions.
The authorization initially builds on Nomad Technics’ existing approvals to work on Bombardier Globals and Challengers, as well as Boeing BBJs and Airbus ACJs. “To further strengthen the offering, Nomad Technics is also committed to developing supplemental type certificates (STCs) for Gogo equipment across a range of platforms,” said Nomad Technics CEO Thomas Gierlich.
Nomad’s pursuit of additional STCs will start with the Gogo Galileo FDX terminal for the Boeing BBJ, a purpose-designed product optimised for what its manufacturer calls “super-midsize, long-range, and executive airliner aircraft types.”
Nomad believes that “as demand for consistent, global in-flight connectivity continues to grow across business jets and VVIP bizliners,” its customers in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa will “particularly appreciate the ability to improve the multi-orbit, multi-band options to install connectivity that best suits their mission.”
