The FAA has authorized ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium to provide line and base maintenance, plus AOG support for U.S.-registered business aircraft. Announced yesterday, the approval mirrors the European maintenance, repair, and overhaul provider’s existing EASA Part 145 certification.
Under the FAA approval, the Dassault Aviation subsidiary can provide base maintenance up to C checks for the French manufacturer’s Falcon 7X, 8X, 9000EX EASy/DX/LX, and 2000 EX EASy/DX. It can also perform line maintenance on Bombardier types, including the Challenger 300/350, Global 5000/5500, and Global 6000/6500, as well as Textron Aviation’s Cessna Citation 560 XL/XLS, M2, and CJ family.
“A significant number of U.S.-registered aircraft operate in or transit through Europe, requiring line maintenance and AOG support,” said Matthijs Hutsebaut, regional v-p for Europe at ExecuJet MRO Services. “This FAA approval is an important milestone that enables us to grow these services and expand to the U.S. business aviation market.”
ExecuJet MRO Services Belgium, which is based at Brussels International Airport (EBBR), also holds certifications from aviation regulators in Aruba, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, and Guernsey. It is part of a group that has MRO facilities in Africa, Asia, Australasia, and the Middle East.
